Class Size
Maximum of 30 skaters. 2-3 groups of skaters, grouped according to their skill level to ensure they are challenged.

Learning Format
Each session includes moving the groups through skills and skating and then 20-30 minutes of Shinny Ringette. Proper positional play will be emphasized with players having an opportunity to play all positions. Lines are matched against each other by skill. Players LOVE this environment as they have the opportunity to play at their level, rather than by age.

What will I learn in Levels 1 & 2?
Skills taught will be fundamental Level 1 or Level 2 skills such as power skating, passing, shooting, ring protection and other individual tactics such as how to win ring battles, how to check effectively, and how to score with a focus on proper execution. One new skill will be taught each class with players practicing that skill via games and shinny.

Level 1 vs. Level 2
This class is intended for intermediate Bunny, Novice & Petite players who are looking for skating and skill development - typically those with 3 or less years experience or who have never attended a For The Love of The Game camp. Level 2 is intended for those who are strong skaters with a good knowledge of the game who are very strong Novice or Petite/Tween B/C level players.

How are we different?
For The Love Of The Game is about exactly that - The Love Of The Game.  We believe athletes learn best while having fun. Therefore, we have incorporated ideas such as daily Heart & Hustle Awards, music and game-based drills into our program.
