Maximum of 30 skaters and 2 goalies. Skaters grouped according to their skill level to ensure they are challenged.

Playing Format
The class will be broken into 2 groups according to skill level. The class includes 25 minutes of powerskating, 25 minutes of skills and a 25 minute instructional scrimmage. There will be a review of ringette rules at the beginning with continual reinforcement in a learning format.

What will I learn in Learn 2 Play?
This class is designed for the "mom" or beginner adult player wishing to learn to play ringette and those who are beginner to intermediate skaters. The class will focus on teaching the game of ringette (rules), positional play, and fundamental skills such as skating, passing, shooting, receiving the ring, and game play in a fun, light atmosphere. If you are looking for some exercise and laughs on a Sunday night, come on out and join us for a fun 75 minutes of ringette! The final ice session is a real game!

Who should take this class?
Are you a ringette parent who has sat and watched this great game and wished you could play? Then come on out and join the rest of the ladies on Sunday evenings in Sherwood Park and have some fun learning to play ringette! Even if you are a beginner skater, don't worry, our first class powerskating instructor will have you racing your daughter by the end of this 8 week program.

How are we different?
For The Love Of The Game is about exactly that - The Love Of The Game.  We believe athletes learn best while having fun. If possible, the ice sessions will include music.

Cost
$299 for 10 sessions

Status - 17 spots
*as of 12:00pm February 21/12
