Class Size
Maximum of 30 skaters. 3 groups of skaters, grouped according to their skill level to ensure they are challenged.

Learning Format
Each session includes moving the groups through skills and skating stations and then 45-60 minutes of Shinny Ringette. In Shinny Ringette the ring is always live, encouraging hustle and urgency, and there are no penalties (penalty shots instead). Lines are matched against each other by skill. Players LOVE this environment as they have the opportunity to play at their level, rather than by age.

What will I learn in Intermediate Level?
Skills taught will be intermediate skills such as checking, various shots, and ring protection with a focus on proper execution. One new concept will be taught each class with players being able to practice that skill during the shinny.

Intermediate vs. High Tempo
The Intermediate class is intended for Bunny, Novice, and Petite B/C players. There is a quick review of fundamentals, with a focus on intermediate skills, powerskating and individual techniques. High Tempo is for advanced Petite, Tween and Junior A and AA players.

How are we different?
For The Love Of The Game is about exactly that - The Love Of The Game.  We believe athletes learn best while having fun. Therefore, we have incorporated ideas such as daily Heart & Hustle Awards, music and game-based drills into our program.
